NA-77 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 12 candidates who participated under NA-77 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Mehnaz Akbar Aziz, Muhammad Tariq Anis, Mian Muhammad Rasheed, Muhammad Ashfaq Taj, Hafiz Muhammad Akmal Sadiq, Shamim Akhtar, Aamir Siddique Malik, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Azeem Chaudary, Syed Sirshar Abbas and Ghulam Ali Shakar Toor.
Mehnaz Akbar Aziz won the elections by receiving 106366 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Muhammad Tariq Anis was who received 70596 votes.
