NA-8 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government. When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 13 candidates who participated under the NA-8 Constituency of KPK Province. These candidates were Junaid Akbar, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Gull Naseeb Khan, Inam Ullah Khan, Mian Gull Khurram, Aamir Nawab Khan, Muhammad Khan, Zafar Yab Khan, Shams ul Haq, Fazal Muhammad, Aalmgir, Taj Badshah and Hussain Khan.
Junaid Akbar won the elections by receiving 81310 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, received 43724 votes.
