NA-83 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 19 candidates who participated under NA-83 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Zulfiqar Ahmad, Rana Nazir Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Nasir Mehmood, Mian Asif Ali, Rana Umar Nazeer Khan, Saeed Yousaf Bhinder, Shahbaz Ahmad, Chaudhary Ali Wakeel Khan, Ch. Zaka Ullah Babar.
Zulfiqar Ahmad won the elections by receiving 139235 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Rana Nazir Ahmad Khan was who received 75940 votes.
