NA-87 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 15 candidates who participated under NA-87 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Ch. Shoukat Ali Bhatti, Saira Afzal Tarar, Liaqat Abbas, Muhammad Nacem, Mubashar Abbas, Babar Maqbool Qazi, Allah Rakhi, Malik Muhammad Aslam, Ch. Muhammad Asad Ullah, Sadia Liaqat Abbas, Qamar Abbas, Muhammad Rafique, Fehmida Kousar, Mian Fazal Ahmed Qadri and Afrasiab Mohal Advocate.
Ch. Shoukat Ali Bhatti won the elections by receiving 165835 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Saira Afzal Tarar was who received 157535 votes.
