NA-99 Election Results (2018)
The three major parties who competed with each other in the general elections of 2018 were the PTI led by Imran Khan, the PLM-N led by Shehbaz Sharif, and the PPPP led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the elections by securing maximum votes and ultimately formed the government.
When we look at the provincial level, the PTI was the ruling party in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party maintained its position in Sindh and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan.
In the elections of 2018, there were 10 candidates who participated under NA-99 Constituency of Punjab Province. These candidates were Mehr Ghulam Muhammad Laali, Ghulam Abbas, Makhdoomzada Syed Asad Hayyat, Rehan Qaisar, Ahmad Yar Irfan, Allah Yar, Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Muhammad Ahsan Lali, Jahanzaib Zahid and Ali Raza.
Mehr Ghulam Muhammad Laali won the elections by receiving 81330 votes as MNA candidate. His other competitor Ghulam Abbas was who received 64307 votes.
